Looks great. Now they need to get it in game asap So I can play it as my FV is just rotting in my garage. I found little joy in playing that.

Honestly, it looks pretty much the same as FV4202, it hast similar stats, pretty much same armour, same gun … what the heck this is worth it? Apart, the new Actios is about 10 tons heavier (so more sluggish? but: 230hp more, could compensate it) and has 8 degrees less turning speed …
Only cool thing to me will be to get the chance to get the new FV4202 for free (=mission)

Turret has a different shape. So more “effective” armor, thus better for hull down support I guess. Something the tier X FV failed badly at.

The thing about this is the DPM is actually respectable now and 330 gold pen seems like its HEAT and not the shitty HESH and that addresses the 2 biggest downfalls of the 4202 in terms of battle effectiveness.

Seriously the turret in my FV was the least felt problem and I felt never any need to fire anything else but APCR with it. So the HEAT for me is no issue … but ok …. let the free tier 8 premium be mine then 😉

This things gun stats are EXACTLY the same as the 4202’s gun stats in game now. Same DPM, same RoF, same reload, same aim time, same accuracy. The only thing different about the gun is the 330 pen HEAT shell… and Ive never felt like I needed more than 268mm of pen in a medium.

Only time I’ve used HESH on those tanks was on French tanks and SPG’s. Tho the Conq HE with 120 pen is more effective on that one. If the FV and 7/1 had that HE pen. It would be better to use those to vs HESH. Though HE on it is actually HESH to.
